This headlamp is perfect for caving, camping, fishing, construction and auto repair.I think that this would be great for power outages as well. This would be a great item to have in your survival kit, or to keep in your vehicle. This headlamp is bright and easy to use. All it takes is one hand to change between the four lighting settings. The four settings are low beam, which is bright enough to read with. Medium is the most used setting. High beam is for seeing way off in the distance.
