Avia Skincare Argan moisturizing cream

  This cream is made with argan oil and aloe vera. It is safe for all skin types. The cream contains no GMO's, no added fragrance,and is not tested on animals.No parabens, and made in the USA.  The cream absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feeling. I love that this moisturizer has loads of moisturizing ingredients. All of the ingredients are beneficial to the skin. ( I will go into further detail later in the article) I am trying to stay away from as many chemicals as I can, so I have been researching ingredients.

 INGREDIENTS
aloe vera juice,  Organic Sunflower seed oil, Organic Moroccan  Argan oil, soybean oil, steric acid (Palm derived), sweet almond oil,emulsifying wax, kosher vegetable glycerin,  caprylic/capric (derived from coconut oil), ethylhexylglycerin,  phenoxyethanol (an eco certified paraben free preservative), rice bran oil

  What do these ingredients do?
*Soybean oil - contains linoleic acid,  oleic acid, palmitic acid, omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, tocopherol (antioxidants) Vitamin E  for skin softening and moisturizing. The phytosterols in soybean oil help soothe wind chapped, sunburned,  itchy or inflamed skin.
* Aloe Vera juice - acts as a protective layer on the skin and helps replenish moisture  (it's nutritional and antioxidant properties help skin heal quicker) aloe vera contains betacarotene,  Vitamin C, and Vitamin E.  These antioxidants help improve skin's firmness
*Sunflower seed oil - Rich in Vitamin A,  D, E, C, has amazing anti-aging properties. Fights off free radicals.  Contains linoleic acid, which is effective at treating acne, eczema and premature aging.
 * Stearic Acid - is a fatty acid found naturally in the outer layer of the skin.  It helps form a barrier and preserves the skin's natural moisture.
* Sweet Almond oil - has a high level of fatty acids.  Serves as a natural emollient for the skin. Helps the skin lock in moisture, plumping and firms the skin. The moisture is absorbed by the fatty cells, stimulating the growth of healthier skin.
* Emulsifying Wax - used to bind all of the ingredients together
* Kosher Vegetable Glycerin - a humectant,  a substance that attracts moisture to the skin in 2 ways. 1, leaves skin hydrated, 2, increases the solubility of the active ingredients, making it more easily absorbed into the skin.
* Caprylic/ Capric - an emollient and skin repairing ingredient,  due to the mix of fatty acids, that the skin utilizes to repair it's surface,  and resist moisture loss. (Moisturizes and replenishes skin)
* Ethylhexylglycerin - serves as a surfectant and presevative/ enhancer.
* phenoxyethanol - preservative kills bacteria and stabilizes formulas. One of the few preservatives that DO NOT release formaldehyde
* Rice Bran Oil  (rice bran extract) - full of antioxidants,  Vitamin B, E, Natural emolients, hydrates skin and protects from UV rays. Helps ward off the signs of aging. Rice Bran oil contains Squalane, which is a natural fat produced by the skin. Helps the skin regenerate it self.

Instructions. Apply to face and neck while skin is still damp. Massage gently using an upward motion.
I have been using this moisturizing cream daily for the past few weeks. My skin is staying hydrated and moisturized all day.

My lips tend to be very dry, no matter what time of year. So I am always on the lookout for a great moisturizing lip balm. I only buy lip balms that have all natural ingredients.  But if the few that I have used, they are lacking in one or more aspects.Whether it be taste, moisturizing, or staying power.
