Stainless Drinking Straws by Decodyne

These stainless steel drinking straws, come in a set of 6, with 2 cleaning brushes. They are 8.5 inches long, and are made of stainless steel. Stainless steel is better for our health. It doesn't harbor bacteria. It is more environmentally friendly, since we will use less disposable plastic straws.
Plastic straws can leach harmful chemicals into our beverages. Some plastic straws are one time use. If they are hard plastic, they are often hard to wash, which can be a breeding ground for bacteria. Stainless steel is easy to wash, and more sanitary.  To wash them simply soak in hot soapy water, then run the brush through them. I received this product for purpose of inspection and unbiased review. All opinions and pictures are mine.

BPA concerns us because it has Estrogenic Activity (EA), meaning it mimics the hormone estrogen in the body. According to the study authors, chemicals with EA have been linked to all kinds of health problems, including

early puberty in females, reduced sperm counts, altered functions of reproductive organs, obesity, altered sex-specific behaviors, and increased rates of some breast, ovarian, testicular, and prostate cancers.
