  Clean up is easy, thanks to the tempered glass surface. Just use a cloth or soapy water for clean up. When I measure out meat, I put a later of saran wrap or waxed paper down, just as an added protection from cross contamination. The scale is stylish enough to leave out on your counter if you desire. The scale has been accurate. I checked by weighing the meat , that I had purchased at the butcher's.

  I am glad I was able to review this product in exchange for my honest opinion. I have gluten intolerance, and most gluten free flour mix recipes are not measured in cups. It is a great help to me knowing that I can accurately weigh the ingredients, so my finished products, can come out as the recipe intended.
