  This set includes:
* a wide mouth funnel- made of heavy-duty plastic. It will fit standard and wide mouth jars. A must when you are pouring hot liquids into jars, such as when canning jellies
* Jar lifter- it has a non slip vinyl coating to safely lift out jars, even those that are full. This is nice considering you are working with scalding hot water
* Magnetic lid lifter - allows you to easily remove the lids from the boiling water without the risk of ruining the seal.
* Tongs - to move the jars or food around inside the jars. They are vinyl coated  and textured to allow for better gripping
* bubble popper / measuring stick - this heat-resistant wand is included to remove air bubbles before applying the lids on the jars. Also as a measuring stick, so you can clearly tell if you have enough head room. Without the proper head room the jars will not seal properly
* lid removing wrench - has heat resistant vinyl cushioning to protect the jars from breaking. Can also be used to hold the hot jars while you tighten the lids. No more burnt hands or fingers

  I am so happy to find a quality set of canning tools. I have looked at canning sets in the past but coykd not find one that was as well made as I wanted. That is until now. I always canned fruits, vegetables,  pickles, relish, jellies and jams with my Mom. This is the first year since she passed that I have attempted it on my own. My daughters are teenagers so I am enjoying sharing the art of canning with them. I do think that this set is made even better than the set my Mom has from the 70's I received this product for purpose of inspection and unbiased review. All opinions and pictures are mine.

  Wide Mouth Funnel
  This versatile design is made of heavy-duty plastic; 2.125" diameter at the bottom and 4.75" diameter at the top, it fits both standard and wide mouth jars. Vent notches help foods flow through faster, and a thumb grip makes it easy to remove the funnel from the jar without getting your hands messy.
  Jar Lifter
  Scissor action adjustment and a nonslip vinyl coating lets you safely lift canning jars of any size from the boiling water, minimizing the risk of burns or breakages. The handles are also vinyl coated for a more secure grip.
  Magnetic Lid Lifter
  It takes the danger out of removing lids from their boiling sterilization bath. Just touch the magnet to a lid and lift it out, hands free ... which also means that it stays perfectly sterile.
  Tongs

  Lid Remover Wrench
