Radha Fractionated Coconut Oil

What is Fractionated Coconut oil you may wonder?
According to organicfacts.net,  it is a fraction of the coconut oil,  from which almost all of the long chain triglycerides have been removed. This leaves a medium chain triglyceride,  making it an absolutely saturated oil. This process gives it a longer shelf life and increased stability. Fractioning raises the comparitive concentration of capric acid and caprylic acid, giving more of an antoxidant and disinfecting effect.

A few uses include:
*widely used in the preparation of soaps, lotions, ointments and cosmetics
*medicinal uses due to the antiseptic properties
*component in a number of hair products
 * used in aromatherapy and massage oils
*carrier oil for other essential oils

Personally I have used the coconut oil in place of my regular coconut oil. I like that it is easier to apply then the solid form that I had been using. It works great as a moisturizer and a massage oil. Add peppermint essential oil for a nice sore muscle massage. I add essential oils to the coconut oil for aromatherapy. It works great as an overnight hair conditioner. I have even used it to remove pine sap from my dogs fur. Sample provided by Radha.
All opinions and pictures are mine.
